• Significant pain control

Dosage:

• For pain: 400–800 mg every 6 h as required
• For fever: Initial dose 400 mg, then 400 mg every 4–6 h or 100–200 mg every 4 h as required
• Infusion duration: No less than 30 min “patients must be well hydrated prior to the infusion of ibuprofen.”
